MTN XTRASMART

With MTN XTRASMART you enjoy the benefits of a contracts package under a prepaid plan

MTN XTRASMART offers corporate organizations and individuals a range of spend control tariff plans that enable hassle-free control of both employee and personal phone call costs.

It offers you and your organization all the benefits you would expect from a contract package plus the cost control feature of a prepaid package.

MTN XTRASMART customers are required to commit to an upfront monthly payment of either N3,000, N5,000 or N10,000 depending on the intended usage pattern.

Each band offers different call rates. This monthly payment entitles you to airtime value equivalent to the amount of the chosen band and can be used for voice (local and international), data and value added services.

Monthly payments must be made before the eight of the month. Failure to do this latest by the 8th of the month will result in the customer being suspended.

Once the monthly airtime allowance has been exhausted, you will no longer be able to make calls. You may decide to wait till the new month before making payments or you may choose to make additional payments within the month either in cash or with a cheque into your account.

You may also choose to recharge your account using MTN's prepaid recharge cards. If you have always wanted the benefits of a contract plan without the risk of running an uncontrolled bill at the end of the month, MTN XTRASMART will put you back in control.

Value for your money
There is no separate monthly subscription charge for MTN XTRASMART.
Any unused airtime from the minimum monthly fee paid may be carried over. However, the total value may not exceed 3 times the value of the MTN XTRASMART fee. You must however still pay the minimum expected by the 8th of the month regardless of the rollover*. The total value is then available for you to use.

Control your costs
MTN can help you manage your personal budget. If you use up all your inclusive airtime, your cellphone line will only allow you to receive calls for the rest of the month. You may at any time during the month recharge your account with MTN's prepaid recharge cards , whenever necessary.

* Rollover value is neither redeemable for cash nor transferable

Now you will never spend more than you can afford; no compulsory deposits on international calling, activation charges and no long term contractual agreements.

How to get connected

Step 1: Choose the MTN XTRASMART plan that suits you best.

With a per second option on MTN XTRASMART, there's a plan for everyone. You can also move upwards or downwards between MTN XTRASMART tariff plans in tune with your monthly spend.

REMEMBER: Any unused airtime from the minimum monthly fee paid may be carried over. However, the total value may not exceed 3 times the value of the MTN XTRASMART band fee. This amount shall not be allocated as credit towards monthly fees or as credit towards outstanding amounts due and is not refundable. You are required to pay the minimum expected by the 8th of the month regardless of the carryover.

* Payment must be made between the 1st and 8th of every month.
