E-charge will be gradually introduced into the market and is not meant to replace physical airtime recharge cards or logical airtime, option. Follow these easy steps. to getting your account topped up virtually in seconds. Ask your vendor for the Recharge value that you want (e.g. N1500). Supply the vendor your mobile phone number (e.g. 0803XXXXXXX). Wait for the SMS confirming that your account has been topped-up. Check your balance, and pay the vendor the money. You can also dial 559, or send an SMS with text E-charge to 559 and receive an SMS showing you the details of your last MTN E-charge transaction.
