November 30, 2018: MTN Nigeria has recorded
another first as a leading ICT company with the launch of Disney mobile web
service in Nigeria, Disneynigeria.mobi,
loaded with Disney-themed short-form content, games
and shareables. The service is the result of a collaboration between MTN Nigeria and The Walt Disney Company
Africa. The two-year deal grants MTN Nigeria exclusivity for the first year of
mobile web service was launched amidst fanfare on Saturday, December 1, 2018,
at MTN Nigeria Headquarters, Ikoyi, Lagos, after thorough test trials to ensure
hitch-free experience for the intended audience.
For N200 per month, Disney Nigeria opens a world of Disney – including short videos,
wallpapers, Disney film and channel information and trailers, as well as select
downloadables and much more – to MTN Nigeria users and their families.
new content will be updated on the site every month and users will experience
fresh content including games like Frozen
Double Trouble, Gravity Falls and
Mabel; wallpapers from fan favourite shows
and short films like Cars Toons or
the popular Pixar Shorts; great recipes,
arts and crafts, movie highlights and so much more, tailor-made to delight the family.
To access the site, users
with both feature and smartphones can visit Disneynigeria.mobi
and follow the instructions. They will also be able to save a launcher app
straight onto their mobile device for easy access to the site. Up to five
devices can be added to one subscription, giving the entire family access to Disneynigeria.mobi.
